A LITTLE ABOUT THE GROUP

Good people.
Shared purpose.

The Wendell Historical Society brings volunteers together to preserve local history. Its work includes the Wendell Museum, the restored historic post office and information about the town’s historic districts and trail.

The museum at 122 West Second Street shares photographs, documents and displays about local people, early businesses, agriculture, veterans, schools, churches and civic organizations. Its website lists regular hours of 1–4 p.m. on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays. Those are general hours, not confirmation of a particular special event.

The society welcomes members through its own application. Its checked page lists annual dues of $25 for an individual, $40 for a family and $100 for a sustaining member. Consult that page for current terms and use the society’s event listings for program details.
