COMMUNITY GARDEN
The Town of Wendell's Kelley Connolly Community Garden is located at Wendell Park. Established in 2018, our gardeners have learned all sorts of innovative ways to garden, but really like working together versus personal garden plots. It allowed folks to grow in rows and share more vegetables. That means we share the work, we share the vegetables and we share the love of gardening.

We also share the extra produce with local church pantries in Wendell. To be a member of our Community Garden, we have a small fee of $15, to be paid annually. We do have two growing seasons in the spring and fall. Anyone ages 15+ is welcome to join! For more info, contact Tim Kay at tkay@townofwendellnc.gov.
DISC GOLF COURSE
The Town of Wendell is pleased to offer an 18-hole disc golf course right here at Wendell Park. Disc golf, also called frisbee golf, involves throwing discs into targets. The course is broken into teeing areas and target areas.

The first hole is located just south of the gravel parking lot on the left as you enter the park on W. Third Street, or south of the new pickleball courts. For a full-res PDF map, use the link below.
