Public Wi-Fi

The Town of Wendell's IT Department is pleased to offer free Wi-Fi throughout our downtown district and at Wendell Park!

Thanks to our IT staff and Public Works Department for coordinating the install and ensuring this service is available for all who enjoy our downtown and park area, whether mingling, studying or exploring!

Please keep in mind that this is public Wi-Fi. This service should not be used for business or retail purposes, nor should any personal data be stored or shared while using this service. We want folks to stay safe when online!

Speeds may vary based on location, proximity to access points and nearby obstructions that may block or hinder signals.

How to Connect:
1. Utilize the map below to determine if you are in an area that has wi-fi coverage.
2. On your device, open the Wi-Fi/Internet settings.
3. Connect to one of the wi-fi connections (Wendell Public Wi-Fi, there may be multiple) based on your location. Choose the network with the strongest signal.
3. Agree to the splash screen with the disclaimer and our Terms of Use.
4. You are connected! You may see another splash screen to agree to when connecting to one of the other three connection points, but once agreed to, you are good for 90 days.

Technical Support: For issues with the downtown Wi-Fi, please email wifisupport@townofwendellnc.gov. Feel free to review our Terms of Use before signing on.
