Eastern Wake Senior Center provides educational classes, recreational activities, and support services to adults 55+ in Wendell and the surrounding area.

The center offers support to older adults to maintain their health and well-being, provide peer interaction, and explore educational opportunities that help them live active, healthy, and independent lives.

Friendship Cafe: Meals on Wheels of Wake County offers a lunch program for seniors age 60+ every Monday through Friday. Call Meals on Wheels Wendell to learn more: (919) 365-4684.

Resources for Seniors, Inc. Pharmacist: An on-site Pharmacist is available on-site 2-3 times a month to answer questions about medication or other health concerns. Call 919-910-2790 to register for an appointment.

Seniors' Health Insurance Information Program (SHIIP) Counselors: SHIIP Counselors counsel Medicare beneficiaries and caregivers about Medicare, Medicare supplements, Medicare Advantage, Medicare Part D, and long-term care insurance. SHIIP counselors are not licensed insurance agents, and they do not sell or endorse any product, plan, or company. Call 919-910-2790 to register for an appointment.
